Trim Castle

Aaron’s extra effort to make sure my family and I had a great night was especially appreciated, and the service was excellent. The drinks selection is good and alcohol is decently priced. Our family suite had a couch and table where we could play board games. The room was a good size, though a little dated, especially the bathroom, and could use a refresh. I’d recommend it for a stay in trim, or if you want to watch New Year’s fireworks over an actual castle. The view from the top balcony is cracking.

The food was outstanding, and our guests kept commenting on its quality. We had our wedding dinner here, and everything ran flawlessly, with a beautiful atmosphere and impeccable timing between courses. The team took such good care of us and all our guests, with real dedication and attention. They were professional and attentive. Special thanks to Manelo.

Even though the Bailey Brasserie at the Trimcastle Hotel was extremely busy, the staff were friendly, attentive and went out of their way to keep everything running smoothly. My family and I had a wonderful meal there today. The service was excellent throughout, and the food was absolutely delicious. A fantastic experience all round. We’ll definitely return and highly recommend the Bailey Brasserie.

The room was beautiful and had great views, and I really loved the balcony. We’d booked a junior suite, though, and were disappointed that the lovely fresh cookies and bottled water we’d received in a cheaper room a few months earlier weren’t there this time. When we asked, we were told it was due to “cuts.” Breakfast is fully table service. The cooked breakfast was lovely, but we missed having fruit or yoghurt to start and a little sweet pastry at the end. Service in the breakfast room was excellent, and the cleaning staff were very pleasant. In our opinion, reception could use a bit more customer service training. We love Trim and will be back, though we might try the Knightsbrook Hotel next time.
