We turned up without a place to stay, and the hosts welcomed us and helped straight away. They showed us the room options and honestly suggested what would suit us best for the price. The rooms were spotless, the facilities were great, and the hosts made everything feel homely. Their two lovely dogs, including a puppy, were a bonus. We also got to try their delicious homemade spice. This B&B was incredible in every way. I can’t recommend the stay, hosts and facilities enough. Do yourself a favour and stay here if you’re ever in George. Thanks to the lovely couple who hosted us.

The location is great, just a minute from killarney house and garden and 20 min from the airport by taxi. We stayed for 2 days and one night in this clean, cozy and economical B&B. Ms Eileen was a wonderful host. She left a tray with coffee and tea, crunchy biscuits, milk, toast and butter for a snack or light breakfast. There are three rooms in the house, each with its own bathroom. The facilities felt close to hotel quality, but in a home setting. There’s a fridge, washing machine, dishwasher and hot and cold showers. Great atmosphere and service too.

Eileen was wonderful when we locked ourselves out of our room, coming to help with a smile and even bringing fresh popcorn. We were running late when we called, and she told us to take our time. She greeted us warmly and gave us a quick tour. The living room is cozy and has all the snacks and drinks you could want. It’s very close to town, and breakfast was lovely with plenty of options. The room was small, but who goes on vacation to stay in their room? We’re very happy with our choice. 5 stars isn’t enough!

The breakfast was generous, with lots to choose from, plus a menu for extras like eggs, pancakes and waffles. The owners were friendly and did their best to help us. We arrived quite late, which was fine. Parking can be a bit tricky, but there’s plenty of space outside the gate. Our room was big and had more than enough sheets and pillows, which was nice with the cold weather. The town is only a few minutes away on foot. A very good B&B, I’d recommend it.

We couldn’t have asked for more. She was welcoming and kind, shook our hands as we left, and wished us safe travels. She was also the only host we’d met so far who didn’t mention ratings or ask for the highest one. The B&B is a quick walk into town for shops and pubs, and there’s a living room if you want more space. The rooms are a little small, but everything else was lovely. The bathroom had washcloths, lotion, Qtips and all sorts of little details, and anything we needed was available. There were plenty of towels and pillows as well. My family and I have been in Ireland for a week and stayed at 4 B&Bs. This was by far the best. The reviews are right about the host and breakfast, both are amazing. We’re currently in a much larger room at another B&B, but we miss “Mountain Dew” and our host.
