The room was clean and the staff friendly, but this was an average B&B, neither bad nor especially nice. The outside looks rather plain, almost abandoned. Breakfast was basic and self-service, and the furniture in that area felt quite primitive. For the same price, we stayed in better B&Bs during our trip, with better breakfasts. The value could be better.

The shared kitchen and other spaces were always kept clean, and the staff were really nice. I especially liked the fresh fruit and the juicers. Each day I made myself a glass of fresh orange juice by squeezing the oranges, then had toast and cereal. The complimentary breakfast was small and basic, but it was nice to have it available whenever I wanted.

We found this place much less expensive than any other option in Killarney, and it was great value for our one-night stay after visiting Killarney National Park. The host was helpful and gave us good trip advice. On his suggestion, we took the ferry instead of driving through Limerick on our way north, and it was great. The room was lovely, and we had no issues. The continental breakfast spread was great too. We'd absolutely stay again.

William was a really helpful host. My bedroom was massive, warm, and absolutely spotless. Breakfast was help yourself, with lots of choice. That was my first night here, and I'll definitely return. I highly recommend this guest house.

We ended up leaving our prepaid room and booking another hotel, even though we'd paid for two nights. After checking in easily, we went sightseeing, then came back to a hot room. The radiator was heating it, but there was no knob to switch it off, despite it being a warm, sunny day. I emailed the owner and left a phone message, but got no response. We had to sleep with the windows open onto a very busy road. There was black mold or mildew in the shower, bugs in the room, and a big spider on the floor that ran under the bed when we tried to catch it. Who wants to sleep knowing a big spider is there? The carpet was dirty. The whole experience was so bad we left.
