The garden view was lovely, and there’s a friendly dog in the house. It’s a quiet, delightful place, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is small but does the job, and the hairdryer is in the closet. We stayed just one night, which was a pity.

The location was okay and quiet. Our spacious room had a warm feel, and the continental breakfast gave us a nice start each day, with a good mix of fresh and warm options. I recently stayed at this lovely bed and breakfast.

Three friendly pubs are only a short walk away, which made for relaxing evenings after touring part of Ireland on our motorbikes. We used this place as our base for a week and it worked perfectly. The rooms were fantastic, the beds comfy, and the breakfasts brilliant. Most of all, the people running it were fabulous. Oscar the dog is really well behaved and knows to stay away from the guest areas. I highly recommend staying here.

Our hosts were very helpful and pointed us to Rafteries, where we had a fabulous meal. Gerry and Maeve gave us a genuinely warm greeting, and the room felt cozy, clean, and welcoming. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a little small, but the shower was large and had plenty of hot water.

Factor in that it’s outside Galway city if you’re planning to take taxis. Meave, Jerry, and family run this authentic Irish guesthouse with a friendly, caring approach. It was clean, safe, and comfortable, and we had a great hearty breakfast and a powerful shower.
