Dingle Benners Hotel

We stayed on the first floor in one of the newly renovated rooms. I hear the second floor rooms will be renovated soon. The staff were kind and helpful, and they accommodated my vegan needs at the impressive breakfast. The location was perfect, a short walk to restaurants and pubs. The car park around the corner was full, but we found a street spot a few feet from the entrance. I recommend it 1000%, and only wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Friendly personnel, a cosy vibe, a clean, spacious room and a great breakfast. The restaurant/bar food was excellent too. We arrived and left smiling. This was easily one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. If you’re in Dingle, book here!

Right in the middle of Dingle High Street, this charming hotel has lovely people and very spacious rooms. It was clean and quiet, and had the best seafood chowder in the village. The bar stayed open fairly late, until 01.30 when I was there. Definitely recommended!

We arrived with our 8 week old for a cup of tea, and the place was quiet. The bar manager gave us the frostiest reception, coming across like a snob looking down on us. There was no smile or welcome, just, “if you're not getting food you're not allowed in the bar, go to the lobby.” We went to the lobby, and the same man arrived and asked, “what do you want?” We had no menus or anything, so how would we know? We didn’t bother ordering. I complained to the general manager, who apologized and said he’d had similar problems before. That’s not good enough, they clearly need to do better training. Dingle is known as a tourist town with warm welcomes, but we won’t be back. It was a massive let down on what was meant to be a nice, relaxing day out. We felt like our business wasn’t wanted. I believe the man's name was Zayed or something similar.
