Dingle Courtyard Cottages 2 Bed Sleeps 4

The spot itself is really nice, but the rest was disappointing. We had to clean the kitchen before using it, and with used towels and clothes left behind, I'm not sure it had been properly cleaned at all. Everything is dated. I won't stay here again.

The grounds are beautiful, looking over the bay and sheep fields, and the location makes it easy to get into town. The house is very nice and fully stocked. I did have a cleanliness concern: the master bedroom sheets didn't feel fresh, with a black hair and a few spots. I was glad I had brought my own to put on top. There were crumbs in the kitchen drawers, and we couldn't get the living room TV working. Still, it was a very nice stay.

The cottage had large, nicely furnished rooms that felt light and airy, and the location was convenient for town. But compared with the other five places we booked in Ireland, this one was disappointing. The cleanliness and small comforts were lacking. The kitchen counters and table were sticky, the gritty floor needed sweeping and vacuuming, and the sheets didn't look clean. My husband and I felt itchy after using them. We found only a toilet roll and a half bottle of hand sanitizer on the entry table, no hand soap downstairs, and half-used liquid soap bottles upstairs. There was no dish soap or paper towels, and no coffee or tea. The ice cube trays in the freezer were old and broken. We also weren't told that electricity had to be paid for at the local grocery store. The cottage has potential, though.

We had a great time in Dingle. The homes were clean when we arrived, and had plenty of cutlery, dishes, and pots if you want to cook for yourself. They're on the edge of town, less than a 5 minute walk from the shops, bars, and restaurants.
