The room was very basic, which I expected for €90 on New Year’s Eve. Check-in was quick and hassle-free, and the woman at reception was very friendly. I’d read that they didn’t take cards, but they do have a card reader and accepted my credit card. Their website and several TripAdvisor reviews had said otherwise, so we’d taken a detour to get cash. The cold overnight was the reason for my two-star rating. What I thought was our blanket was more like a very light sheet, and I couldn’t find any extra blankets anywhere. There was nobody downstairs to ask. The building’s heating came on around 9am, but there had been none during the night. It wasn’t an enjoyable stay, and we were glad to get up early and get moving to warm up. Bring blankets, just in case.

Lynne was such a friendly, welcoming host, and even posted our computer tablet to our next address after we accidentally left it behind. The location is fantastic, right in beautiful central Dingle. We had comfortable beds and tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Highly recommend!

The accommodation was very noisy. You can hear every guest, and room no3 at the back was even worse because the pizza place's kitchen is right beside it. They play their music loud while banging pots and pans. At €90 a night, this place is far too expensive. Rip off republic is coming back even stronger. My advice is to shop around.

The photos don’t show the facilities as they really are. The linen was clean, but the bathroom needs work, especially the mildew on the walls around the shower and toilet. There’s very little space, and using the shower was challenging.

The early bird Irish stew in Guinness was delicious, and the service was excellent. Get there early, though. When we passed by again on the way back to our B&B that evening, it was quite crowded.
