Martina was such a lovely person to meet, almost like catching up with an old friend, and she was always available if we needed anything. We stayed in Studio D apartment, which had everything we needed and felt like home. It’s also so close to everything in Doolin. I can’t recommend the place enough, and if you’re planning a trip here, definitely try to stay.

The hosts were so gracious, and the little cottage was sparkling clean. It’s only a short walk from the bus. We took the ferry from Doolin pier to Inisheer for lunch, and on the return trip got an unexpected pass by the famous Cliffs of Moher. Seeing them from the water was tear inducing, and we didn’t have to hike at all.

Martina and Pat made us feel welcome and were very helpful. The River Shack was spotless, beautifully presented, and maintained to a high standard, with loads of room. It’s right in the heart of the village, and they’d provided absolutely everything for a self catering holiday. We’d have no reservations about booking again if we return to Doolin.

Dominic (the Donkey) was our girls’ favorite animal of the trip. He was really friendly and so photogenic, probably the most photographed animal is Ireland. The owners were superb and very helpful, and breakfast was amazing too. Thanks for giving us the best family stay in Ireland!

The only things missing from the room were a blow dryer and an iron. The rooms were spotless, even in every corner, and really spacious. Breakfast was included and very good, with local treats picked up from the bakery that morning. The hostess was lovely and knew all the best little secrets in the area.
