The rooms were smartly decorated and very warm, even in January. Parking is right in front of the house, which was handy for keeping the dogs safe in the car. Lovely service and breakfast, and a great location for walking to everything in Doolin.

We were here for three nights for a wedding. The host was lovely, and the location was excellent. The rooms and bed were super comfy, the shower had plenty of hot water, and breakfast offered lots of choice.

The only noise issue for us was other guests slamming doors. There’s no air conditioning in the rooms, but they gave us a fan, which helped during the unusual heat wave. The bed was nice and firm. Maria made a great omelette, and breakfast also came with pastries, crepes, pancakes, fruit, yogurt, juice, and coffee or tea. It honestly felt like visiting family.

Our room was easily the most comfortable of all the hotels and inns we stayed in on our Ireland trip. The bed was comfortable, the towels fluffy, and breakfast excellent. It’s a short walk to anywhere else in town. Maria was such a lovely, helpful host. We had a fantastic two nights and would stay again in a heartbeat.

One drawback was the morning noise: the downstairs rooms are right by the breakfast room, and it gets very loud from 7am. There aren’t tea or coffee facilities in the rooms, though guests can use the breakfast room during the day. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay. Maria was a lovely host, good company and a great cook, and our spotless room had a very comfortable bed. The location is ideal for a short walk to local pubs and restaurants. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
