The room was spacious and clean, and the location was nice. But the bed was really uncomfortable and the toilet wouldn't flush. We contacted them about it, but they didn't offer a solution.

We loved the music in the local pubs, and the town itself is a beautiful little seaside spot. Our host was very gracious and stayed up for our late arrival. It was also a perfect place to stay for visiting the Cliffs of Moher, just a short drive away. One of our favorite stops in Ireland.

Chris made us feel very welcome. The view from the house was gorgeous, and we had a private living room with couches, a TV, fridge, kettle and a small dining table. The room and bathroom were immaculate.

It's only a two-minute walk into town, and once the evening settles down it's dark and quiet. There can be some noise when guests arrive or leave. The gentleman who runs the place was a wonderful host, sharing lots of local advice on places to eat, live music and the route to our next stop. The full Irish breakfast is filling, and he can adjust it to suit your appetite.

We only got to spend one night with Chris and Olive, which was a shame because they were such wonderful hosts. The location worked really well for us, with restaurants and bars nearby, plus the Cliffs of Moher and the Doolin ferry to the Aran Islands. And the full Irish breakfast was excellent. I'd recommend Toomullin House to anyone staying in the Doolin area, even for three nights.
