The restaurant was the highlight of our trip, with the best meals we had on the whole vacation, even compared with a week in France. Our room at Roadford House was clean, comfortable, and very nice too. There’s a pub just down the road with great evening drinks and entertainment. We stayed in mid August 2016, and I’ll definitely come back when I’m in Ireland.

We stayed here with our family of four, in two rooms at the back of the building, and the setup worked perfectly. The owner was attentive and lovely, and breakfast was wonderful. Of the five B&Bs we stayed at during our week in Ireland, this one was my favourite. It has a casually elegant feel, and we were glad another local B&B recommended it when they were full. I’d highly recommend staying here.

Beans the dog was a lovely bonus while we were away from our own dog and in need of a little canine company. The rooms were clean and well kept, and breakfast had lots of choice, elegant but not fussy. The location and hosts were wonderful, with local pubs and their great music just a short walk away. I’d happily recommend it and book again.

Marian made everything such a pleasure. She was a wonderful host and had loads of helpful information about the town and surrounding area. Breakfast was fantastic too, maybe the best we had in our 10 days in Ireland. Thanks so much!

Lovely little place at a reasonable price. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and breakfast was delicious. The coffee was really good, and the pancakes were on another level. Make sure to tell Beans what a great dog he is. He’s the resident Irish setter, loves belly rubs, and barks at the farmers.
