The views are out of this world, and there’s lots of space and comfort, so the house worked perfectly for our big group. We went in February and had a brilliant weekend. Our host made things easy well before we arrived and was incredibly helpful. I can’t speak highly enough of her. It’s a special place, and I can’t wait to stay again.
The dining room was a great place for everyone to gather, and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable. We rented the whole country house for one night in October, and the owner was very helpful and accommodating for our group. It’s just a stone’s throw from the centre of Doolin, with everything we needed and more. A beautiful house, and a wonderful stay.
Sharon was a wonderful host, quick to reply and helpful with everything, including letting us and our friends into the house while we were away. Her staff were just as kind. They even baked fresh scones for us, a lovely detail we’ll remember. We came to Ireland for our wedding with 11 of our closest family and friends, and Aran View Country House was just right for the occasion. There was plenty of room for all of us and for the whole wedding morning. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, which made getting ready easy, and having a steamer there for my dress was a lifesaver. The washer and dryer were also a big help when traveling as a group. The house is beautiful, warm, and spacious. We spent time in the lounge with its built-in bar, played pool, and cooked in the huge commercial-grade kitchen. Making big meals was easy, and sharing them in the full dining room gave us some really special memories. We couldn’t have asked for a better setting for our Ireland wedding trip, and would wholeheartedly recommend it to groups looking for comfort, room, and Irish hospitality.
Great vibes, and everything you need is about a 10 minute walk away, if you need anything at all. The house is beautiful, very clean, and has loads of space. There’s a full kitchen with a stovetop, oven, and fridge, plus Guinness glasses ready to use and all the amenities covered. Washer and dryer included. One of my favorite places on Earth.
We had the whole six-room house to ourselves, and it was so comfortable. The historic home has beautiful rooms with period furnishings and nicely modern bathrooms, plus amazing views of the Cliffs of Moher and the Aran Islands. We chose breakfast and really enjoyed the full Irish options and warm, freshly baked scones. McDermots pub is an easy 15 minute walk away, a nice outing for live music and good craic.
