We were offered a lift to the wedding reception so we wouldn't have to walk there in the rain, and the hosts were so welcoming. The house looked lovely with its Christmas decorations, and our room was clean and tidy with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast had plenty of choices and was just right. If you get the chance, try the banana bread. I'd highly recommend a stay at Tom Blake house.

We only wish we'd had longer here. Tom Blake House is a beautiful period home in central Kells, yet it feels calm and warm inside. Our room was very comfortable, and breakfast was first class. Avril and Dave were fantastic hosts and made us feel at home. Thanks especially to Dave for driving us to the wedding venue after check-in. We'd happily recommend staying here.

This was our second visit to Tom Blake house. There were six of us in the family, so we booked three rooms. Every room was beautifully decorated to suit the house's history, and the attention to detail from Avril and David is clear throughout. Breakfast was delicious, with more choices than we could ask for. A luxurious, five-star guesthouse.

Avril, Dave, and their daughter Maisie were generous with their time and help, and lovely to meet. We could walk to everything from the house, and parking in the front yard was handy. The restoration was done with great care for the home's original character. Our room was comfortable, and the dining room was bright and airy. The full breakfasts were delicious. We can highly recommend Tom Blake House to visitors to Ireland.

We were in the area for a wedding and had a lovely stay at Tom Blake House. Avril and David were pleasant, accommodating hosts, and their renovated period home is beautiful. Breakfast was lovely, with great choices and beautifully cooked food.
