Harvest Moon-ROOMS ONLY

The price didn’t feel justified. It’s close to the Cliffs of Moher, but everything else is extremely basic. The rooms were clean, though poorly soundproofed, and there were some room issues that were eventually sorted out. Breakfast was self-service, and check-in was at the front door. The host seemed somewhat unfriendly and wasn’t really willing to help with a problem we had before arriving.

Melyssa is a lovely host and has thought through the small details, from the LED light on the keyring to napkins by the bedside. The rooms and bathroom were clean, and the bathroom was big with a full set of toiletries. Breakfast was free, plentiful, and had lots of choice. The only thing I could point to was that the blinds let in quite a bit of morning light, around 5 am, though I’m used to sleeping in complete darkness. This was beyond exceptional. I’d give it six stars if I could.

Melissa went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The house was airy, spotless, and nicely decorated, and breakfast the next morning was delicious. Having access to the kitchen was ideal too, since it would’ve been a great option if we hadn’t decided to eat out. We had a lovely night at Harvest Moon B&B and would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting Doolin.

The house has been restored so nicely, and it feels cute, warm, and lovely. The beds were good, and Melissa was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is continental and self-service. We really enjoyed staying there, and the Cliffs of Moher and Burren NP are easy to reach. We recommend booking through Airbnb ;)
