The bed was warm and really comfortable, and the staff were kind and helpful. The location is great, close to lots of things. We did have an issue with the shower's hot water, though. There was basically only enough for one shower a day. If you want breakfast included, try booking directly with them, since it isn't included when you book through another site.

The Anchor is a handy base for the Dublin Marathon weekend, with the main venues all within walking distance. The train and bus stations are right nearby, and getting there by car is easy too. We stayed two nights. Our room was clean and nicely presented, and the staff were friendly, polite, and attentive. If you want straightforward, clean, presentable accommodation in Dublin, I’d recommend it.

The staff were friendly, answered all our questions, and offered ideas for things to do in Dublin. It’s easy to reach by bus or train, and the popular sights are walkable from this B&B in the heart of the city. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well looked after. Breakfast was delicious too. I’d suggest booking direct online.

The room was a decent size for three adults and fairly clean. The staff, though, were rude and unaccommodating. When I asked about the pre-authorization, which is for the full amount, the conversation became very confrontational. I’d look at the many other hotels or hostels around.

We stayed for a week and the room worked fine for me and my cousin, though it was smaller than I’m used to as an American staying in places like Holiday Inn. It had a double bed, two nightstands, a small TV, and an armoire. The shower is a stall, no tub. The staff were friendly and helpful, and O'Connell St is only a 5-7 minute walk away, with lots of shops, restaurants, and history. You hand your key in before heading out and collect it from reception when you return. One thing to know, you have to carry your bag up a flight of stairs before reaching the elevator, which is through the sitting room and across a walkway between buildings. The WiFi worked in our room for the first half of the stay, then stopped for the second half. Their website says WiFi is available in the common rooms, which could mean only there, but since it worked in the room at first, there doesn't seem to be a barrier keeping it from working throughout. In 2017, I feel like room WiFi should be a given.
