Blackrock B&B

The house is full of amazing art, and our host was simply lovely. I already miss it. The beds were so comfortable and the pillows excellent. Breakfast was delicious, with yogurt, scones, cheese, toast, and a full Irish breakfast, plus lovely tea with milk and orange juice. Such an enchanting place to stay in Dublin.

Jerry and Jacquie made us feel welcome from the start. Our flight got in early on June 8, before check-in, but they let us leave our bags, offered coffee or tea, and gave us a place to rest in the common area before sightseeing. They knew the area well and pointed us to cheap parking for the week, places and museums to visit, transport options, and restaurants to try. We stayed at Blackrock Bed and Breakfast from June 8-15. The room was spacious, clean, and had loads of storage, which was great for a longer stay. Breakfast was phenomenal every morning, and they accommodated food choices and allergies. They communicated well too, letting us know when the room was ready on check-in day and asking what time we wanted breakfast each morning. Jacquie and Jerry were friendly and liked hearing about our day’s adventures when we came back in the evenings. We’d highly recommend this B&B.

We only got to stay one night, which was the downside, because Jackie was such a lovely host. The B&B was wonderful and exceptionally clean, with lots of thoughtful little details that showed how much she cared about guests’ comfort. Our room was small but very cozy, next to a beautiful bathroom, and breakfast had plenty of variety. Thanks so much, Jackie!

Jackie was kind and welcoming, and had lots of useful information about the area to help us get oriented in Dublin. The room was beautiful and clean, breakfast was delicious, and there are a few great pubs nearby. It’s also close to the train for getting around the rest of Dublin. So glad we stayed here!
