The hotel is clean and has two bars. My issue was the €100 room deposit at check-in, even though I’d paid in advance. That charge wasn’t made clear when I booked. At checkout I was told the refund would take 3 to 5 days. After seven days without it, I got in touch and was then told it could take 15 days depending on my bank. I asked my own bank, and they said there’s never a delay on their end when a third party deposits money.

The location is ideal for wandering around Temple Bar, and the room itself was fine. I was surprised by how quiet it was, considering it’s right in the middle of the area. The receptionist was very friendly and helped me call a taxi to the airport. I’d ask for a quiet room. Mine stayed surprisingly peaceful until the drunks came in late at night. The beds and pillows were pretty low quality, but I guess you get what you pay for there. Breakfast was included, though it wasn’t clear where to go since it’s in a different building.

The rooms were small, but clean, about what I’d expect for such a great location. Step outside and you’re in famous Temple Bar. Finding the parking and getting to it was quite difficult, which is part of being downtown.

The river view from the top floor is amazing. Street noise was the only thing I didn’t like, it was exceptionally loud.
