Heyday Student Living

The staff are kind and helpful, and my room was clean and comfortable. It’s a nice place for a short stay, and I had a good time overall. The main issue is the lack of air circulation. The windows don’t open properly, so it’s always hot and stuffy. The shared kitchen has problems too: they don’t supply rubbish bags or washing-up liquid, leaving students and residents to buy them, which they don’t. Everyone is meant to clean up after using the kitchen, but not everybody does. I think the kitchen should get a proper cleaning at least once a week.

The horses in the stables across the road are such a lovely thing to see. There are also plenty of shops nearby, including Lidl, Tesco and Dealz, plus pubs and restaurants within walking distance. The apartments are quiet and the rooms are really nice, with lovely reception staff and security guards. I’ve stayed in a few student accommodations, and this one is much nicer than most. The gym is great, and the common room has loads to do, with games, books, sofas and TVs. There’s a cafe next door too, and the food is good.

Living at Heyday while studying for my Master programme has become one of my most memorable experiences. It feels like more than home. The team and building management are the best, and the location is great. I love how much care Heyday puts into every corner of the building and into our well being. If I could give it more stars, I’d give them all to Heyday. I love everything.

I had a great stay and would definitely come back. Getting to transit and convenience stores only takes a few minutes on foot, and they have umbrellas to borrow when it rains. Check-in was simple, and the staff were friendly and gave me useful information. My room, washroom and the kitchen were very clean, and there were brand-new towels. The only small snag was laundry: payment runs through an app, and I had trouble registering until I connected to Heyday's wifi.
