The common library was a great spot for computer work, and there are lots of restaurants nearby. It’s centrally located, an easy walk to the Liffey. The beds were comfortable, breakfast filling and reasonably priced, and the welcome drink was appreciated.

We stayed four nights at the Moxy Dublin. The staff were friendly the whole time, and the location was convenient, but the room felt extremely cramped for two. On our first night I hit a chair positioned very close to the bed while getting up and injured my leg. The bruise was massive and affected the rest of our trip. I reported it, and the front desk offered to move us to a bigger room with two beds. We packed before heading out for the day, but when we came back the new room was only slightly larger and still had one bed, so the space issue wasn’t resolved. The hotel is modern and clean, and the staff did try to help. But the rooms are very small, the furniture leaves little room to move around the bed, there’s no fridge in the room and no gym or fitness center. It might suit solo travelers or people who barely spend time in their room. Couples, people with several suitcases, or anyone who wants more space and amenities may find it quite cramped.

We’ve stayed in Dublin around four or five times, and spent two nights at this hotel during a layover. It was convenient and well located, and surprisingly quiet on both Saturday and Sunday nights. Just be aware that construction on the structure next door starts at 7 AM on weekdays.

It’s my second time staying here, for three nights, and the location is good with easy access. The service could be better, though. I’m checking out on the 1st Feb and plan to return and check in on the 4th Feb, but they can’t hold my one piece of luggage while I’m away for three days.

As a Marriott Bonvoy ambassador who’s traveled all over the world for work, I’ve never booked a worse room. There’s no real closet, just a wire mesh rack on the wall for hanging clothes, and not one drawer, so you’re basically living out of your suitcase. No safe or microwave either. This is also the first Marriott I’ve stayed at without streaming TV service. The front desk could use a refresher in customer service, and I’m sure the hotel is aimed at a much younger crowd. For the money, I think you can do much better in a sprawling city like Dublin.
