Premier Suites Dublin Ballsbridge

We were a group of six couples and stayed at Premier Suites, Ballsbridge for three or four nights. The studio suites with small kitchenettes worked well, while the double rooms were standard hotel rooms. The reception team gave us good advice and helped get our rooms cleaned and ready for check-in. The lobby lounge and 24-hour beverage counter were lovely, and the free laundry was useful too. Great location and a very good place to stay in Dublin.

We left without staying a single night and had to spend more money on another hotel in Dublin. We had booked a room advertised with a kitchen and microwave, expecting to cook dinner after a long day at work, but the room didn't have those facilities when we checked in. The staff member in charge said it was the third party's fault, claiming the company hadn't provided that information and the third party had posted it without authorization. We had already bought food to cook, which went to waste, along with the money. The staff member didn't address our concerns or contact the manager, and left us in the lobby. We were very upset. Also, parking is apparently only meant for long-stay guests, so I wouldn't recommend driving there after work or a long day. I hope the hotel refunds the full amount we paid since we didn't stay.

The studio apartment was roomy, clean and comfortable, especially the bed, and the reception team were friendly, professional and ready to help. There was some noise from the main road, but earplugs helped. I've asked for a room facing away from the road next time and feel confident the team can accommodate that. I'd recommend Premier Suites Ballsbridge for business or leisure and look forward to coming back.

I spent a few months here on a work assignment, and the long-term apartment felt enough like home to relax and enjoy. Laura and the staff were outstanding. It's a great place for a short or longer stay, with an ideal location not far from Dublin city center. The train station is just around the corner, about 10 minutes from the city center. Highly recommended.
