The breakfast was a real highlight, with tasty food and plenty of choice, and the dining room staff were excellent. There’s lots of free parking and the location is excellent. Getting in late was less smooth: nobody was at reception when we arrived at 11pm, so we had to call the number on the desk. The key we were given didn’t work, which meant another trip back to reception. Our room was small and dark, with a cracked hand basin and a small double bed. The shower was over the bath, which may not suit people with mobility issues.

There’s plenty of parking and facilities here, and the food and drinks on site are great. Housekeeping could be more reliable: the shower gel stayed empty for two days, even after I took it off the wall and left it somewhere obvious, and on another day they didn’t replace the toilet roll or tea and coffee. I’d still stay here again for a trip to Dublin.

We were upgraded to a king bed on the second floor, which made things easier for my son while he’s using crutches. Our room was lovely and clean, and the bed was big enough for two. The hotel was also very close to UCD Dublin, which worked out great for us.

The buses stop right outside, so getting around Dublin was easy. We had a brilliant Saturday night at the Talbot Stillorgan, with a spotless, spacious and really comfortable room. Bala gave us such a warm welcome, and breakfast was a treat. Everyone on duty was great, especially Gavan. We’ll be back!

I really enjoyed my stay in Dublin. The food was fantastic, with lots of variety, and every meal I had was good. Staff in the pub and restaurants were friendly and attentive, and made me feel welcome. My room was beautiful, comfortable and stylish, and everything was spotless and well maintained. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Dublin.
