I spent over a decade working in hotels, including in management, before my current career, and I was impressed with everything. The food was delicious, even the vegetarian dishes, and the rooms were immaculate with very comfortable beds. The Fairways Hotel was easy to reach from the motorway, with SuperValu and a chemist beside it for anything you might need or have forgotten. It was beautifully decorated, modern, and spotless. Our conference had about 400 people, and all the staff, from housekeeping and reception to the bar and waiting teams, stayed professional and friendly despite being rushed off their feet. The function rooms were turned around quickly and set up perfectly for the next event, then immaculately again the following day. Well done to all the teams, management and staff. It really shows that your staff are your greatest asset.

Dinner and breakfast were both absolutely delicious, and the bar had a great cocktail selection along with a very decent pint of Guinness. Our room was fantastic. Christina made check-in easy and shared some great local information. An absolutely amazing stay, again!

After coming off the ferry in Dublin, I stayed here for a night. I hadn’t realised I’d made two bookings, one directly with the hotel and another through booking.com. It was a major mistake, but the receptionist was so helpful. She asked me to cancel the booking.com reservation and said she’d message the office to explain my error. I also contacted booking.com, and they didn’t charge me anything extra. I really appreciated the help from the lovely receptionist, so thank you.

We’ve held a few family events at the Fairways over the years, most recently a christening and a communion. Both days were perfect. They took care of the arrangements beforehand and nothing was a problem. On the day, the food was beautiful and the staff very attentive. We’d highly recommend it for a family celebration.

Our room was spotless and spacious, and it had a nice shower in the bathroom. When we arrived, there was a little goodie bag for my daughter for the movie night at 8pm. The receptionist who checked us in was lovely. The location is handy too, with a SuperValu, pharmacy, and Costa right beside it for any extra bits you need.
