The location was fantastic, and the staff made this a good stay, especially everyone at reception and in the bar. One young man found the hockey game for me, which matters a lot when you're Canadian, and went out of his way to get me bus information. The bar team were so friendly and welcoming. My room was very clean, but the bed and pillows were the least comfortable I had during a month of travel. The first-floor hallway smelled bad, and I think the carpet needs updating. Saturday night was also the most I paid for a hotel in four weeks, almost $300 CAD. After stays in Galway, Dublin, Kraków, and Rome, that price for the uncomfortable bed was unfortunate. The staff really were amazing and made my three days here a great experience.

A great spot for a weekend, right in the centre, with really helpful staff. The breakfast was delicious and generous, and the bedding was fabulous. The TV is state of the art too. The hotel feels dated in places, though parts have been modernised, and in my opinion they've focused on the most important things.

The staff were phenomenal, and the rooms were good. Yes, the hotel is a bit dated, but I think that gives it some charm. I don't understand why it has such a low rating. My one request would be to bring the beans back to the breakfast menu.

We had a fabulous cousins' reunion, and the staff made it even better. Special thanks to Iwapa, the lovely breakfast waitress, whose hospitality was next level, and to the lovely woman at reception. We'll definitely be back, thank you so much! xx

We were in room 139 from Sept 1st till 6th and will certainly return. The evening meal portions were big and well cooked, and it was great having a private car park. From reception to room service, food and the bar, everyone was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We also enjoyed meeting the owners. Thanks to all of you for a lovely holiday.
