Reenmore Farmhouse

Sheep's Head is wild, beautiful, and unspoilt, with lovely local people in the shops, pubs, and restaurants. The location is amazing, with sea views and a natural seawater inlet that’s perfect for a dip. I booked at the last minute for three nights with my 86-year-old mum and needed a ground floor twin room. Jennie greeted us warmly with tea and buns. The room was bright, clean, and all on one level. Breakfast was cooked to order, fresh and generous, with filter coffee. Thank you, Jennie!

The rooms are cosy and the showers are hot. Wi-Fi might not reach the room, but there’s a comfortable common area where you can use it beside the big windows with a cup of tea. Breakfast was one of the better Irish breakfasts we’ve had, and we’re picky. It’s a charming farmhouse B&B, tucked away and just right for disconnecting, with bright flowers around it and a walk down to the shore. Jenny greeted us with hot tea, lemon cake, and suggestions for a sunset drive. A lovely little escape.

That view at the bottom of the driveway is a real heart-stopper. I’m travelling the full Wild Atlantic Way, and these are great people. Best B&B I’ve ever stayed in. They had tea ready as soon as I walked in, and breakfast was fantastic.

Jenny was brilliant from the moment I arrived, greeting me with tea and homemade cakes at the door. The location and room were lovely, and the place was comfortable and very clean. The food was excellent, too. I’ll stay here again next time I’m in the area.
