Riverside Park Hotel and Leisure Club

Reception staff were exceptional. Two lovely women greeted us and were very helpful, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. There was free filtered water available too. The room was roomy enough, but it fell short on cleanliness and maintenance. Two chairs were so badly stained we had to cover them with towels before sitting down. The duvet was about a foot too narrow for the bed, though it was put in a bigger duvet cover. The shower head was held together with electrical tape and leaked in several directions. Wires covered in tape were hanging from the light at the wardrobe. There was a heater, but no way to adjust it when the room got cold at night. A bit more attention to the upkeep and presentation would make the rooms much more welcoming. We stayed a couple of days at the Riverside Park Hotel.

The staff really made our stay. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and helpful. The food was amazing too, and we'll definitely be back. We stayed two nights recently and were very impressed. The hotel is beautifully located, with lovely river views, and the rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Great atmosphere.

Breakfast was tasty both mornings, and the staff service was amazing. We spent two nights here, and it's a lovely place, with clean rooms, really helpful staff and a beautiful town. I'd go back. I skipped the hotel restaurant because it was a bit too pricey for me, but found a lovely restaurant in town. Thanks, Riverside 😊🙏

Hi Andrea, Thank you so much for our wedding on Friday. You and the staff have set the standard for how newlyweds, bridal parties and guests should be looked after. There wasn't a request too big or small, and any doubts or worries were sorted out and put to rest within minutes. Our families and guests still can't get over how great everyone at the Riverside was. We chose the Riverside because the food had always been amazing whenever we'd stayed, and the staff had been brilliant. The food was still amazing, and the staff were even more than brilliant. From the meetings, calls and emails, you were absolutely amazing. I think I was so laid back because I knew you knew what you were doing, and you'd answered my questions before I even had to ask. You put Jordan and me at ease, so we could focus on the other parts of the wedding without worrying about how things would go at the hotel. Thanks again for everything. The Riverside definitely has some returning guests! Niamh & Jordan
