We felt right at home in our cozy, spotless room, and the breakfast was just perfect. Anam Cara Manor is such a beautiful place to stay in Ireland. I could happily have stayed for weeks. Thank you so much, Moira, Michael and little Elliott. We'll definitely be back!

The house is grand, almost like a show home, and so clean it feels like a sanctuary. Our room was gorgeous, with a bed like sleeping on clouds, and the Irish breakfast came in three courses. Moira also catered for my wife's allergies and had almond milk for her. We were told to make ourselves at home, and we did. Micheal and Moira were wonderful hosts, especially given the circumstances: we were heading home to England after my father-in-law died suddenly and had no suitable clothes for his funeral. Moira offered to lend us some, though family members stepped in. Definitely recommend it. You'll have to visit to find out what Anam cara means.

Moira and Michael welcome and treat you like old friends. The manor and grounds are grand, beautifully designed, thoughtfully laid out and very well equipped. The bathrooms are spacious and well appointed, a big improvement on the typically sparse accommodation you can come across in Ireland. For a luxury B&B, this is without doubt the best value I've found. Go before demand pushes the price up.

Breakfast was wow, and well worth going out of your way for. The house is a delight, with breathtaking rooms and super comfortable beds. From the moment you walk in, you feel like a valued guest. I haven't had such a great stay in a looong time.

We loved our stay and I'm already planning to return. Moira and Michael pointed us toward interesting sights and things to do, and we still remember our castle and museum visits, followed by Dublin. Anam Cara is a must-see and stay if you're visiting Ireland. The outdoor spots were lovely too. We sat in one of the many seating areas, with views of cows grazing in a lush green field just beyond the fence. Flowers, a swing bench and the bubbling creek made it feel peaceful and properly bucolic. We also loved the grounds around the house, the waterfall and creek under the stone bridge, and the bright flowers in every window box. Breakfast started with yogurt, granola and fresh fruit in a parfait glass. You can follow that with the full Irish breakfast or something else, and there was coffee, tea, juice, bread and sweets. Inside, everything felt crisp, clean and inviting. The kitchen was spotless, the breakfast room was light and airy, and the main floor had lovely furnishings. The upstairs rooms and suites had beautiful beds with coverlets and pillows that made you want to lounge there. My sister, daughter and I were driving through the lush Irish countryside when we saw the Anam Cara sign and crossed the amazing stone bridge. Looking toward the house, our first reaction was, "Wow, how beautiful!" Moira and Michael greeted us at the front door, just as delightfully as the setting. It was a wonderful visit, and I can hardly wait to come back.
