With fishing for both salmon and trout, the lakes are well known among anglers. Pontoon Bridge sits where two of Mayo’s famous fishing lakes meet, and it's a lovely place to pause and admire the scenery on either side. There’s plenty of parking beside the bridge, plus footpaths along both sides so you can stop safely and take in the views.
