The room was clean, pleasant, modern and had a comfortable mattress. Parking right outside was handy, and it’s about a 10-minute walk through the uni grounds to town. No coffee in the room, which feels a bit ironic above a coffee shop, and no television either. We managed for one night.

Parking is limited, and I hated having to use a code system to get into the room.

It’s an easy walk into Galway city centre, so the location is great. Room 4 was clean, comfortable and a decent size, with a spotless, nicely tiled shower room and a lovely shower. The shower room is almost ensuite, just across from the bedroom on a tiny side corridor used only for that room. There’s no plug for the basin, and no hairdryer or iron. There was also nowhere to keep clothes, since there isn’t space for a wardrobe. No formal check-in for this bedroom, so I can’t really rate the service. The rooms are above a cafe, so I think breakfast should be included.
