8 Eyre Square Lane

We had a mixed stay. The house itself was beautiful and comfortable, with three very comfortable bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a cosy living room. Soap, shower gel and towels were provided in the bathroom. The drawbacks were a few small stains on the mattresses and a really dirty dishwashing brush, with no sponges or other cleaning items available. Those weren't the main issue, though. The entry code setup was a real problem. We were given a code to collect the keys, but it only opened the box for one bedroom's keys, not the keys to the front door, even though we'd booked the whole apartment. If the housekeeper hadn't been there with the door open, we couldn't have dropped off our bags. Then we had to keep calling to get the main door key code, with unanswered calls and promises to call back. Once we had the keys, the main door was very difficult to lock, which wasn't practical. The place is still comfortable and well located, so the stay wasn't all bad, but the arrival process and general practicality need work.
