It’s in a quiet area, with a bus running into town, and everything was very clean. The hosts were friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful. Breakfast was delicious with a range of choices. Our room wasn’t large, but it was big enough, with all toiletries supplied. Tea, coffee and water were also available in the room. I’d recommend staying here.

The breakfasts at Almara House B&B were a highlight, freshly prepared and with options to suit different tastes. The hosts were warm and attentive, making guests feel at home. Rooms were immaculate, tastefully decorated, and equipped with modern amenities. Almara House is conveniently near Galway city center, so local attractions are easy to reach, while the place itself remains peaceful. A charming, welcoming choice for a comfortable stay in Galway.

Marie made us feel at home and was really friendly. The room was a nice size, with comfortable beds and pillows and good quality linen. It’s close to Galway centre. There was a wide range of teas and coffees for guests, and Marie laid out lots of fruit and cereals for breakfast, as well as a good choice of cooked breakfasts.

The host was a very kind, nice lady, and my room was clean with everything I needed. It was quick and easy to get to and from the city centre by bus, though I walked. The price was good compared with what else I could find around Galway. I’d stay there again.

We’re from Canada and had never stayed in a BnB before. It was nice being in a home in a pleasant residential part of town. The host was so nice and made a wonderful breakfast. The city is fun, though I wouldn’t want to stay out there. The city bus from the BnB takes you right into town. I’d stay here and recommend it again. Some reviews called the room or bathroom small, but I thought the size was adequate compared with other homes in the EU and UK.
