The scenery and setting were beautiful, and the lodge itself is lovely with all the amenities. Still, the bedding and door locks were a problem. I was nervous sleeping because I couldn't lock the door, and ended up staying up late and waking early. We arrived late at night, so there wasn't anyone we could reach. These things should be sorted before guests are put in the rooms. It was an okay stay overall.

The rooms were big and comfortable, with everything you need, and breakfast was well equipped too. We had a great ocean view. The staff running the hotel were superb, both the woman in the kitchen and the manager. The downside is how far it is from the city centre, so you need transport.

Just outside Salthill, the location was lovely, and the host was hard to beat. The design feels quaint and consistent inside and out, and my room was spotless. The Covid breakfast boxes were faultless, with delicious fresh pastries. There was plenty of coffee and tea in the room too.

The host was welcoming and really helpful. My room was great and the shower was superb. I didn't stay for breakfast, so can't say how that was. A very nice lodge, and I'd recommend it.

The accommodations were very nice and breakfast was great. But the owner hasn't been around at all, and we've got no hot water or anyone to contact about it.
