Handy for a quick visit to Galway. The room was clean and comfortable, though the stairs and shared areas could use a little TLC.

Supermarkets and bus stops are close by, and the walk into the city takes about 20 minutes. It’s an old student residence now used for tourists, with a bit of noise and dated bathroom fittings.

It’s worth remembering this is student accommodation. Even with that in mind, I’d say the place was just okay, and we found some dampness in the bathroom.

A decent low-cost place to stay, though the rooms are really small.

The laundry was a letdown: it costs €10 and neither washes nor dries clothes well. Parking was also a nightmare, with the car park full every time and a ten-minute walk needed to reach where we parked. These are student residences, with apartments shared across several bedrooms and a common living room and kitchen. The beds are only 120 cm, so I wouldn’t recommend it for tourists.
