The hosts made our first trip to Ireland feel special. They were warm and accommodating, and cooked us a full Irish breakfast each morning. We loved the comfortable, vintage-style room and its breathtaking ocean view. The lodge is also close to shops, restaurants, the beach, walks and hikes, and even a haunted house or castle. We stayed here first during our spring 2015 visit and absolutely loved it. Thanks for an unforgettable stay, we'd highly recommend it around Galway. Cheers!

The bay view from the sunroom and the garden are lovely, but the room and bathroom are extremely cramped, and the shower was awful. Bring soap with you. Parking is tight, and the exit is on a blind bend, so take care pulling onto the road. There are lots of dogs, in case allergies are an issue. Breakfast was a bit questionable.

Jim was the highlight of our stay, such a lovely host and he really looked after us. The house has a fantastic garden out front that you should see, and our room had a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was really good too.

My sister, daughter and I stayed three nights at the beginning of August, and Jim was so hospitable and helpful throughout. The sunroom and gardens were amazing. Thanks, Jim, for such a wonderful stay. Please give Cleo and Charlie a hug from Nancy, Lois and Tracy.
