We were three people in a private four bed dorm with an ensuite, and only needed it for sleeping, so the stay was fine overall. The kitchen and common areas were nice, the staff were pleasant, and there were free lockers before check in and after check out. I saw some smaller lockers to rent, I guess for valuables. Towels were free with the private room, though there was no bath mat. There’s free tea and coffee all day, and breakfast was included, but we slept through it. My main complaint was the bed linen. One bed had a few hairs and a cut nail, so it looked as if the cleaners had folded the duvet back up without changing the bed. Check out was at 10 and check in at 15, and they were knocking at 10:05, but that was fine.

Right in the heart of Galway city, and extremely affordable for a night’s sleep. Kate checked me in and was an absolute delight, very polite and helpful. The room price includes breakfast, with cereal and toast, tea and coffee, which was a nice surprise. Just remember it’s a hostel. In a mixed dorm, noise from other guests is very possible, but it’s a small trade off for how affordable it is.

The location was perfect, close to the city centre, and we were happy with the value. Our room was great, with a private bathroom and shower, though the sink was tiny. There’s a kitchen and a nice breakfast at the hostel. We would’ve enjoyed it more if the teens in the next room hadn’t been an issue. Some of the guys went into the bathroom that was clearly for females only. The receptionist stepped in quickly, and we did eventually get a good night’s sleep.

A really friendly atmosphere, and you often meet interesting people here. The hostel is clean, in a great location, and the staff are quick to help with questions or any issues. Kate checked me in when I arrived. She was so polite and friendly, gave me great tips for places around town, and went out of her way to make our stay pleasant. All the staff were super helpful. Customer service was 10/10, and I’m very happy with this hostel. The staff are Fab!!!

It was a satisfactory stay, and I’d recommend this hostel. It’s within walking distance of the bus stop, train station, Eyre Square and a supermarket. The place was clean, and the staff seemed nice and polite, though I didn’t get to interact with them. Best thing is the free breakfast :p
