I was really grateful for Mike's help when I got a flat tire while cycling through Kerry. I rode back here, and he helped me get my bike to a local repair shop, which saved my trip. My friend and I had spent the night here, and the Irish breakfast was outstanding.

Glenbeigh is quiet and right on the Ring of Kerry, and we found the stay good value, with a warm welcome and parking. Breakfast was included, with Irish and continental options. The family room and ensuite bathroom felt a bit small. There also aren't many pubs or restaurants nearby, so for more choice you'd need to drive about 20 minutes to Killorglin or Cahersiveen.

We stayed for three nights, and came back once to find the host in our room without permission. We already had everything we needed, and she had no business being in there. She was rude and ungrateful. It felt like she just wanted our money without giving good service.

Our room had a bathroom with a walk-in shower, which was great for my mom, who's getting on in years. Breakfast was excellent too.

The dog is cute, and the place could use a little less white.
