Louise, our wedding coordinator, made sure the whole weekend ran smoothly. Her support and attention to detail were incredible, and the rest of the team were just as warm, professional, and helpful. Planning from another country could have been stressful, but they were always there to answer questions and guide us. The food was exceptional, the service was outstanding, and our guests are still talking about how beautiful the venue was and how well everything was organized. We felt looked after all weekend. We got married at the Sneem Hotel on July 18, 2025, after traveling with our families from New York to County Kerry. My father was from Waterville, so getting married in this beautiful part of Ireland meant a lot to me. The hotel’s views of Kenmare Bay and the countryside made a breathtaking setting for the day. Choosing the Sneem Hotel was one of our best decisions. We’ll always treasure those memories. Thank you to everyone there for giving us the wedding of our dreams. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

The staff were wonderful and really attentive, and the hotel did an amazing job setting up the reception. We were there for a wedding, and breakfast was good too. I’m from Pittsburgh PA, where we have cookie tables, so that was the one thing I missed. The walking paths around the water were lovely and had beautiful scenery.

The food and drinks were amazing and well priced, and we had great rooms. The bar and restaurant teams kept helping us with anything we needed. Red and Milo, the dogs playing around the hotel, were lovely to meet too. Looking forward to coming back for the seaweed baths. Absolutely amazing hotel, with helpful staff from the minute we arrived.

We booked two nights and ended up staying four. The hotel was closed, but the dog-friendly self-catering apartment worked perfectly for us. It was spotless, with big comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, and spacious bathrooms with great showers. The grounds were immaculate, and there’s a lovely short walk through them into the village. Really good value for money. There’s a gorgeous beach about half an hour away, and we stopped at Staigue ring fort on the way back. We’d love to make this an annual winter trip.

The Sea View Balcony Suite was absolutely massive, with loads of space, and I’m glad we booked it. The patio door leaked during a severe rainstorm, though, and the light above the door flickered like a strobe before going out around checkout. It was our first time staying here this year. The location is great, close to Sneem village and about a 10-minute walk away.
