Mary and Hugh, hope you’re both keeping well! We’ll be back for the rally in two weeks, though this time we’ve booked somewhere nearer Letterkenny. We’ve stayed with you every year since that first visit in 2022, when my son Josh and I arrived after 1am following the long drive from Dublin. Mary was so kind, offering us tea again and again. I felt bad keeping her up, but her warmth reminded me of Mrs Doyle from Father Ted 😂. Thanks for that first-class welcome. If the rally were around Donegal, I’d be calling to book with you again. All the best from Mike and Josh in Wales 👍🏻

Breakfast was brilliant, and Hugh and Mary even helped us stay on track with our diet. The rooms were spotless, the shower was fantastic, and they looked after us so well that it felt like we were part of the family. We felt as if we were in a four-star hotel, and their lovely home is in a great location. They pointed us toward good pubs and places to drive to. We loved every minute of our stay and will be back. Thanks, Hugh and Mary, from Mike, Lynne, Andrea, and Eric xxxx

The place was spotless and comfortable, with a lovely breakfast and very friendly hosts. Mary and Hugh made for a great break, and it’s a handy base for getting around. I’d happily recommend this B&B. Thank you both.

Plenty of parking, a filling breakfast to get the day started, and hosts who made us feel welcome. We had a really good stay at Avalon B&B with Mary and Hugh. The ensuite room was spacious and comfortable, and I’d gladly recommend the place.
