Kevin, the owner, was so kind. He chatted with us over a really nice breakfast and gave us great tips on sights to see. I stayed one planned night at Barry’s B’n’B in May 2026. Everything was clean, including the sheets and towels, which had that fresh feel and scent. The soft wall colors made the rooms feel peaceful. I think there are three floors, but the wooden stairs weren't bad to walk up. I'm plus size and had twin beds, which was a little tough, so if you're plus size, I'd definitely get a double bed. Barry's is clean, in an easy part of town, and the service was great. I'd recommend it as a cozy, affordable place to stay with excellent service.

We loved our stay here. Barry was friendly and so hospitable, and the room was comfortable with lovely views. The house is right in the city, so it was easy to walk everywhere, and there’s a supermarket very close by. Barry served a magnificent continental breakfast and was very attentive. This has been the best place to stay and best value for money we've found so far in Ireland. Thanks a million, Barry, we loved staying at your place.

We only stayed one night, but had a GREAT experience at this B&B. The bedroom and bathroom were modern and clean, the owner was friendly, and breakfast was fresh and soft. We had an amazing view of the sea and harbour. Hopefully we’ll be back to Bantry soon. :)

We were warmly welcomed, and the continental breakfast was a lovely surprise. Two things could have been better: the bathroom bin hadn't been emptied when we arrived, and there were no tea or coffee facilities in the room.

Barry's is in a great location. I stayed there on 8 Sept for the tour de Beara. The room was pristine, the bed comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked for an early breakfast. The dining room was functional too. Great value for a Friday night, and I’d highly recommend it.
