The bay view from our two rooms at Ashfield B and B was lovely, and the house is in a quiet part of Kenmare. It took about 10 minutes to walk into town along a street lined with homes. There’s also a handy gas station a few minutes away for snacks and drinks. We really enjoyed our four nights. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, including eggs with salmon, French toast, pancakes, oatmeal, and a full Irish. The hostess was very kind and had good excursion tips.

Mary made breakfast each morning, and sharing coffee with her was a nice chance to get local suggestions. Her rooms are cozy, comfortable, and very clean, with Kenmare’s little village and its places to eat and drink within walking distance. It’s a convenient base for the Ring of Beara or Ring of Kerry. We enjoyed our stay a lot and would love to return.

Getting into town on foot was easy, and breakfast had lots of options. The room was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. A wonderful B&B.

We stayed for one night with our two small children, and Mary was so kind and welcoming. The place is well looked after and in an excellent spot in Kenmare. Breakfast was the tastiest we had in Ireland, with plenty of choice. Across the five nights of our touring trip, this was clearly the best value for the quality. Highly recommended.

Breakfast at Ashfield is gorgeous, though I still can't decide between the porridge and full Irish. The facilities are spotless and comfortable, and the village centre is an easy walk away. This was our second year staying with Mary, and she's always been a wonderful host. Highly recommend it, and we're already looking forward to coming back.
