The walk down to Kenmare Bay is lovely, and the houses are spacious and generously sized. I took off one star because checkout is at 9am due to covid, and guests have to strip the beds. That feels very early when check-in isn’t until 4pm. At the same time, it’s reassuring to know the previous occupants left early and the house has had a good airing before you arrive.

There’s a large outdoor area that works well for children or socialising, and the house was very clean and well maintained. It’s a good option for families or groups of friends, with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, laundry facilities, a kitchen, and a spacious living room.

We’ve stayed in the four-bedroom houses for the past number of years. There’s plenty of room inside, and they’re clean. The green areas around the houses give children space to play, and there’s also a playground in the estate.
