Green Isle Farmhouse

We had a wonderful stay in this quiet, clean, tidy, well-kept guesthouse, about a 5-minute drive from Kenmare and in a great spot for the Ring of Kerry. There's a shared sitting room with sofas, a TV, and a dining area. Some rooms share a bathroom, while ours had its own.

It's a small guesthouse with five rooms and a shared common room. The rooms are spacious and well cared for, though not every room has a private bathroom. The spot is quiet and only a few kilometres from Kenmare. There's no breakfast service, but guests get milk, tea, cereal, and bread for toasting, with butter and jam.

The bed and pillows were amazing, and towels were included. Coffee, tea, and water come with the price, along with a simple breakfast, which was much appreciated. Everything was spotless, well equipped, and looked quite new. It's a very peaceful place in the middle of nowhere, with lovely scenery, and amazing value for money.

I could hear everything from the rooms with a shared shower and toilet. If neighbours were talking in the corridor or using the toilet or shower, the poor sound insulation meant it all carried through. The room with its own toilet and shower looked better, but in my opinion the price isn't worth it.
