We’d love to come back to The Estuary in Kenmare. The house was spacious, comfortable and spotless, and our hosts, Anne and Sean, made sure we had what we needed. They even met us in town and drove us to the house. Kenmare, a delightful little town, is only minutes away. Thanks for hosting us, we had a great stay.

We only wish we'd booked another night at Tara Farm B&B. Anne welcomed us cheerfully even though we arrived after check-in time without giving notice. It’s in a great spot, just a few minutes’ walk from the town centre, with lovely views and a patio where you can sit outside. The rooms have tea and coffee and are very well equipped. Breakfast was excellent, with a high-quality home-cooked meal plus a spread of homemade breads, pastries and fruit. Anne is incredibly friendly and happy to share local suggestions for places to eat and visit. I highly recommend the B&B and Anne as a host.

Tara Farm is in a calm area about a 10-minute walk from central Kenmare. There are excellent spots there for dinner, beer or cider, and sometimes live music or sports on TV. It’s also a nice drive of about 30-50 mins to places like Killarney National Park or the Ring of Beara/Beara way, both well worth visiting. We had a great stay, with a friendly welcome and good service. The room and private bathroom were lovely, and breakfast was very good. The view from the breakfast room is spectacular. Highly recommend!

The setting is beautiful, and we especially liked spending time with the cows next door. Our room was comfortable, with classic decor and a modern bathroom, and the fresh breakfast was delicious. We loved our stay and can’t wait to visit again!

The breakfast was incredible, especially the host’s French toast, which was the best I’ve ever had by far. There was a menu to choose from, plus gourmet cheeses, lots of fruit, cereal, yogurt and plenty of drinks. The hosts were really friendly and helpful. My husband and I spent 2 nights here during our week-long trip around Ireland. Of the 5 places we stayed, this was my favourite, and I’d happily have stayed longer in this paradise. I chose it for the view, and it didn’t disappoint. From our window we could see the coast, hills, mountains, farms and their beautifully landscaped property. We didn’t get to walk down to the water as the description said, but the rest of the stay made up for it. The door handles to our room and bathroom screeched loudly, the one flaw in the house. Everything was neat and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Kenmare has lots of great restaurants and is a perfect spot for visiting Killarney National Park and the Ring of Kerry. I’d come back and recommend it to anyone. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
