We booked at the last minute and were told there'd be some building work, but nobody explained how extensive it would be. The jackhammering in nearby rooms kept us from enjoying our stay, and the public rooms and corridors felt cold. The price didn't reflect that. On the better side, staff were excellent, friendly, and welcoming throughout our three nights. Breakfast was excellent and the service was great. We also had dinner one evening. The food was good, but the dining room was cold and had little atmosphere. A fire would've made a real difference.

The easy, peaceful walking trails were a lovely way to spend time together, and afternoon tea was one of the highlights of our trip. My husband and I stayed at the Park Hotel in mid-August, and the service was spectacular from check-in to check-out. The hotel is unique, beautifully appointed, and has wonderful views and a location within easy walking distance of quaint downtown shops and restaurants. The spa was top notch, and the vitality pool was amazing. We only visited it once, which was our one regret. We had a magical, restful stay.

Our room was spacious and luxurious, with a stunning view over Kenmare bay. The outdoor pool, set among the woodlands with a lovely bay view, was blissful, and the walks around the hotel were wonderful to explore. We felt so well looked after from arrival, and the team at Park Hotel Kenmare made our anniversary stay special. Dinner in Landline was superb, with impeccable service. Jude in the bar deserves a mention too, so professional and very talented at mixing cocktails. The art throughout the hotel was beautifully curated and fascinating. The setting is stunning, and the staff are so friendly. We'll definitely be back.

The grounds are lovely, and Kenmare is one of the finest small towns in the country. I absolutely loved this place and can't wait to return. We got some of the finest service in the world here, starting with Ava, who welcomed us and sat with us to talk about the hotel, its art collection, and the experiences that brought her to Ireland and the hotel. When we got our key, a real key, we already felt like ladies being welcomed home to our estate. The food was exquisite and elevated, and the food service was just as kind and attentive. Seek out Paul Brown for a private Ring of Kerry tour, he picks you up right at the hotel. This was by far the best place we stayed in Ireland.

The drinks were delicious, the piano was beautiful, and the dinner had a really special feel. Rob was an incredible host, and his knowledge of the hotel, its art, and the community made the experience even better. I was delighted to see Blue Bottle served too. 🇺🇸☕️
