We stayed with my parents for my mother’s 80th birthday, and the staff were so friendly and helpful throughout. The rooms were fantastic, comfortable, nicely equipped and recently refurbished. At breakfast, the supervisor was another real asset, though we didn’t catch his name. We even spotted him heading into the rain with my parents’ luggage and caught him just in time. We had coats, he didn’t! Ross carried their bags from the car to the room, which meant a lot since both my parents use walking sticks. Leanne was always smiling and helpful, and our waitress Karen had such a lovely way with her. Her one-liners kept coming and charmed my parents, who love a bit of banter. This has to be the friendliest hotel in Ireland. Well done, everyone, you really nailed the customer experience.

Being right in the centre of Waterford made it easy to get everywhere. The hotel was clean and well cared for, and the staff were always welcoming, friendly and ready to help. I had a really great stay at Dooley’s and would happily return. I’d recommend it to others.

The staff at Dooley’s were wonderful, and their kindness made our stay memorable. My husband had a minor medical issue while we were on holiday, and they went out of their way to help and kept checking on him. The hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable too. We’d highly recommend it.

We were two adults and two kids staying for three nights. There was a mix-up at check-in and our room was missing a bed, but they sorted it out without making a fuss. The food in the bar was lovely, and breakfast was tasty each morning. The real highlight was how friendly the staff were, especially the gentleman in the breakfast room. He was both professional and so welcoming. We’ll definitely be back. The one downside was having to pay for parking for all three nights.

The hotel is in central Waterford, and there was entertainment in the bar on Saturday night. My room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. There was no complimentary bottled water in the room. Parking came up during booking, but the public parking in front of the hotel is paid.
