We were five people staying on a Saturday night, and the rooms worked perfectly, with a single bed for each of us. The shower was very good and there were plenty of towels. The hotel is right in the centre, only a couple of minutes’ walk from Kilkenny town centre. We’d stay again.

The staff were so welcoming and helpful, and it’s about a 10-minute walk to all the city action. There’s a bar downstairs, and the stay was great value.

It was quiet at night, and the rooms were nice and clean when we arrived. The city centre is a 10-minute walk away, with some nice pubs and shops on the route. There’s also a cosy bar beside reception. Parking was the one downside, as the car park felt a bit small and tight. We’ll be back and would recommend it for groups 👍

I wouldn’t recommend staying here. We spent two nights in mid-December; the room was OK, but our towels weren’t changed on the second day, and one had a football-sized hole in the middle. Paying over €425 without breakfast made that especially disappointing. General housekeeping needs major improvement.

The rooms were spotless and the staff were amazing. It’s only a two-minute walk to the town centre, and the Guinness was great too 👍 Such a lovely place.
