We found green mould in the drawer beside the bed, and stains all over the carpets and walls. The shower door nearly fell on me. It was the most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed. We did get some entertainment from reading the reviews and the owners’ responses, though.

The good location meant we could stay out until the early hours, and then the best part was getting out the door. My pillow had stains we couldn’t identify, and the walls had a nice pattern of mould. The bathroom smell was so bad you couldn’t use the toilet in the room. Spend a few extra bob and get an actual hotel.

The place was right in the town centre, which was its only good point. Check-in was at 16:00, despite what Google said, though I was lucky to get in earlier. It cost €60 a night with no breakfast, and the place smelled of smoking joint and damp. There was no insulation between rooms, no heating, and no hot water in either the sink or shower. There was no kettle for coffee or kitchen where you could put food in the fridge. The doors all work through an app you have to download to your phone, but there’s no emergency contact if you have trouble with it. There was nobody at reception to complain to. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

The sheets seemed relatively clean, but I wasn’t brave enough to check the mattress. The pillow was very flat. We didn’t feel safe there, and the door didn’t feel secure. The location is good, but for the price it isn’t worth it. We won’t be back and don’t recommend staying.
