The owners are lovely and super polite, and the house is beautiful. The rooms aren’t very big, but they have everything you need, and it’s completely quiet at night. Breakfast has something for everyone, including homemade traditional bread and sweets. The homemade Irish bread was delicious!😋

We were lucky to book a two-bed room late on Saturday evening after a cancellation. The hosts were great, and the rooms were clean. Continental breakfast, including some home baking, set us up for the day. It’s on the outskirts of Kilkenny, about a 20-minute walk into the centre. A great place to stay that didn’t break the bank.

The garden was beautiful, serene, and peaceful, and breakfast was just right, especially the warm homemade scones I already miss. Our room was clean, cosy, and comfortable, with a private ensuite. The hosts were incredibly gracious. We loved our short stay and would gladly come back on our next trip through Ireland.

The Irish breakfast was really good, and our hosts were kind and accommodating. They recommended good places in town to eat and have a drink. It’s a healthy 20-25 minute walk into town. The rooms can feel cramped with three people, and the bathroom was a little small, but I’d stay again. Watch out for the two Maiden Hill roads. This B&B is on the more southern one, just before the roundabout, and the address shown here on Google Maps is correct.
