Guaire House Killarney

The house is in a really quiet spot, yet town is just a short walk away. Our room was very nice and spacious, and breakfast was excellent. Teresa was accommodating, super friendly and a great host. Highly recommend!

The views looking out over all of Killarney were absolutely stunning, and Teresa made sure we felt cared for throughout our short stay. Her gorgeous house sits on a hill, with an old-fashioned exterior and a modern, cosy cottage feel inside. The beds were warm and comfortable, the showers hot, and there were plenty of towels. Teresa was thoughtful, knowledgeable and courteous. When we arrived, she showed us how to get around Killarney with a map and directions to the best places to eat and visit. Breakfast was really cute, especially the little strawberry egg cozies, and very filling. My partner and I are big eaters, but we were full well before we finished what was in front of us. She even tried to talk us out of a risky bike-and-hike plan. In hindsight, we should have listened, since it was just outside our comfort zone. When she couldn’t change our minds, she checked on us when we got back to make sure we’d made it through safely. That made us feel looked after. Teresa went above and beyond to make our two-night stay wonderful. I hope this gives a sense of how amazing this bed and breakfast is. Anyone would be lucky to stay at her BnB. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, around a five-minute walk from the town centre. Teresa was such a helpful host and couldn’t do enough for us. We really enjoyed our stay!
