The only reason we stayed was that we couldn’t find anywhere else so late on a Saturday night. A hostel would have been cleaner and better value. The owners should be ashamed of this filthy place. The bed linen was dirty and full of holes, so we covered the pillows with our clothes and lay on top of the duvet. The carpet was stained and stinking, and parts of the wallpaper were ripped off and marked with who knows what. Electrical sockets were pulled out of the wall. The shower was so dirty we couldn’t use it, and there weren’t any towels or soap either. I can’t believe this place is still open.

The place was absolutely disgraceful. The sheets looked used by someone else and had a woman’s mascara on them. There was dust on the carpet, and the curtains were stained with what looked like sperm. The beds were dirty too, and I don’t want to know what had happened in the room before us. The toilet wouldn’t flush, and the shower looked like it had never been cleaned, with lots of hair and mould inside. I wouldn’t let my enemy stay there. We definitely paid €90 too much.

I had to ask for an extra pillow, towels, teabags and sugar. The carpet was filthy, like it hadn’t been cleaned for years, and the bed linen had marks on it. The shower didn’t work properly, with only boiling hot or freezing cold water. I definitely would not recommend this disgusting hotel.

The staff were very polite, but there was tea and coffee with no milk. There weren’t any towels or soap either. The shower was black with mould, and the carpet had more stains than clean carpet. Around the beds there was about an inch of dust. Three beds were broken. The mattress and duvet had dry blood and urine stains on them.

I still tell stories about this terrifying place three years later, and just checked whether it’s still in business. Do not stay here. That night felt as close to a horror movie as it gets, short of being slaughtered. Don’t believe any review above one star. Whoever gives this place four or five stars should be committed. You’ve been warned.
