The beetroot and goat's cheese salad was nice, and the portion was decent. I added chips to make it more filling, and staff checked that they were cooked in a separate fryer from meat, so they were veggie friendly. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the location was good. I forgot the name of the staff member with red/maroon hair, but she was so sweet and helpful while I ordered at the bar. I'll definitely be back when there are more veggie options.

Breakfast was a highlight, a huge spread of hot and cold dishes, with attentive, helpful service. The hotel sits right in the heart of Blarney, an easy walk to the castle, restaurants, cafes, and wool shop. We stayed five nights, and while our comfort wasn't affected, we did notice little signs that the rooms are getting old: a small amount of bathroom mold and paint chipping around the doors. The hotel itself is quite nice, but could use a bit of updating. We'd recommend it.

The executive rooms are lovely, with quality accessories, and breakfast was very good, especially the fruit bar and local produce. The bedroom hallway doors look a little dated. At Christy's bar, though, the staff seemed more interested in chatting with each other than serving customers.

The room had just been renovated and the beds were comfortable. The shower was fantastic, with really good pressure. There are lots of nice spots around the hotel to sit with a coffee, and it has a lovely feel. I'd definitely stay again.

Breakfast was good, and the hotel is just steps from the famous Blarney Castle and garden, so you can visit early and avoid the queue. I was surprised, it felt more like a 4.5 star hotel than a 3 star one.
